This Air Fryer Pavlova is a lovely light dessert that has a soft and chewy centre with a crispy outer shell. Make as a centrepiece dessert for all your guests or family gatherings.
In this recipe I’m using Sugar and Crumbs Whipping it up, you can choose any flavour that compliments your ideas.
This recipe is for cooking in the Air Fryer only, if you would like to bake in the oven please follow this recipe – Whipping It Up Pavlova.
Great Flavours to try are Velvet Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple, Raspberry and White Chocolate, Lemon Drizzle, Blueberry, Orange Zest. You could even try a Chocolate version using Chocolate Milkshake.
Ingredients
- 250g Sugar and Crumbs Whipping It Up
- 70 ml Room Temperature Water
- Fresh Berries to decorate
- 300ml Double Cream
Method
- First mix the Whipping It Up and water in a clean mixing bowl, whip until stiff peaks, this usually takes 5-6 mins.
- Make a tinfoil tray the shape of your air fryer space. You want to use this to help stabilise and give your pavlova a flat surface. Place a piece of baking paper inside of this.
- Place 1/2 the meringue in a piping bag and pipe a border on top of the paper in your desired shape. Then use the remaining meringue to fill in the middle.
- Now set the air fryer to the bake setting at 160c and bake for 10-15 mins until crispy. It’s ready when it can easily lift off the paper.
- Leave to cool fully in the air fryer.
- To decorate whip the cream to soft peaks, stir in some flavoured icing sugar or whipping it up to taste.
- Next spread over the meringue and decorate with some fresh berries and a sprinkle of icing sugar.
Keep in the Air Fryer Pavlova in the fridge and eat within 3 days
