Product Details

S&C Easy Bake Vanilla Genoese Cake Mix - 2.5kg, is absolutely delicious, light, makes a beautiful sponge, soft and moist, and a beautiful cake for carving too.

This cake mix is white in colour too.

The recipe is for 500g, please measure out, and double up on additional ingredients accordingly.

Recipe:

500g – Vanilla Genoese Cake Mix

287g – Water (must be split into 2 parts 200g & 87g)

50g – Vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Place the Vanilla Genoese Cake Mix, 200g water plus 50g vegetable oil together.
  2. Mix for 1 minute at a slow speed. Scrape down.
  3. Mix for 4 minutes on medium speed. Add 87g of water. Scrape down.
  4. Mix for a further 2 minutes at a slow speed.
  5. Divide between a muffin, sandwich, or loaf tin.

Oven Temperature: 

160°C / 320°F (fan assisted 140°C / 284°F)

400g loaf cake for 40-50 mins / 120g muffin for 25-30 mins

These instructions are purely a guide only - each oven is different.
