Sugar and Crumbs 16mm Frill Stick is perfect for your cake decorating and sugar flower making cupboard.
In addition, it's very versatile and great for frilling the edges of sugar petals, leaves and garrett frills. You can use the rounded end as a balling tool, and the pointed end is perfect for making Mexican hats and hollowing out trumpet flowers.
For making flowers, frill the outer edge of the petals, press the frilling tool down and work back and forth in small movements to create a frill. Then move along and repeat all the way around. Dab the icing and your work surface with the cornflour pouch if the frilling tool or the icing starts to stick.
In fact, it works great with fondant/sugarpaste, modelling paste, flower paste, etc. It's made in special highly polished plastic for non-stick performance.
The secret to creating realistic flowers and fabric effects such as frills and ruffles is to soften the edges if finely-rolled paste. In addition, this tool is very easy to use. Simply roll the frilling stick over the edges of the paste, pressing harder for a more frilled effect.

We do not recommend to out it into the dishwasher. Just clean it with warm water and a bit of soap if needed.
