This paste doesn't need a lot of kneading, but the natural oils can rise to the surface of the paste, so it may need to be kneaded well to mix these oils and activate the gum for top performance.

Fantastic sugar paste and a great price. Some black sugar paste can be so difficult to use, not this one. I always roll out on a silicone sheet which has a little trex rubbed over it. No icing sugar to remove and the paste never sticks if instructions are followed. It can be rolled much thinner than a lot of other brands.
