S&C Easy Bake Red Velvet Cake Mix - 1kg, is absolutely delicious, with a subtle chocolate flavour and striking colour, Red Velvet is the latest big craze from America to hit the UK. Gorgeous baked as cupcakes or full size cakes.
This 1kg bag makes 2 batches of 500g, if you wish to use the bag as a whole, remember to double the eggs to 340g, 280g of vegetable oil, and water to 200g.
Recipe:
500g Red Velvet Cake Mix
170g Eggs
140g Vegetable Oil
100g Water
Directions:
- Add Red Velvet Cake Mix to eggs in a mixer fitted with the beater.
- Mix on slow for 1 minute, followed by 3 minutes on medium speed.
- Add the oil and water and mix on slow speed for 1 minute.
- Scrape down the bowl then mix for a further 3 minutes on slow..
- Divide between cupcake cases, or 2 sandwich tins, or a 2lb loaf tin
Oven Temperature:
160°C / 320°F (fan assisted 140°C / 284°F / Gas mark 3)
400g loaf cake for 40-50 mins / 120g muffin for 25-35 mins
