What is Melt and Pour? It's a product that looks and hardens just like chocolate.

16/11/23 - Please note we changed our Melt & Pour product some time ago, we have noticed there is an error on the ingredients, there is no wheat in this product.  I have amended it here on the website, I will get the labels updated ASAP.

Some people find it difficult to work with chocolate.  Melt and Pour is a coating that looks and tastes like chocolate, yet no need to temper. Simply melt, pour and cool.  Once set it will have a soft satin gloss of chocolate, will set hard and have a chocolate snap, also a very pleasant taste.

Chocolate making and decorating is going to be so easy, you will just love playing with your new chocolate moulds, and making chocolate drips, however, do remember when using chocolate for drips your cake must be cold, pop in the fridge for 20 mins before adding the drip.

  • Does not need tempering.
  • High resistance to temperature.
  • Excellent shine.
  • Very good snap.

How to use

Pop 500g of Melt and Pour into a glass or plastic bowl, pop into the microwave to melt for 30 seconds, and take out, stirring all the time, even though it's still in chunks keep stirring.  Pop back into the microwave again for another 30 seconds and repeat, you do this until you have completed 2 minutes, once done you just keep stirring.  If you need to pop in the microwave again then do so in 10 second blasts, however, do not heat until fully melted, it's much better if there are a few chunks left for you to stir in completely.

Note: if you melt till it's fully melted you risk the chance of blooming.
