Coffee & Cake Social Day 10th May 2025 – 10am – at Carol’s House

Hi everyone, fancy a meet up with like minded friends with the same interest as you?  Then come along to Carol's house, based in Stockport, Cheshire for a fun day relaxing, chatting and enjoying refreshments including sandwiches and cake.  Address details are in the private group, Link is further down.

Don't be worried if you have never been to one before, it was everyone's first time once. We have all become firm friends, it's lovely to be able to chat with someone you have chatted to before, via our social media channels face to face.

Everyone is made to feel at home, and welcome, we don't even mind if you want to help to wash up later lol.

The lovely Lee Carroll makes a lovely range of sandwiches and he has a lovely bunch of helpers, who will all make sure you're fed well.  Our very own Office Junior Lynne Woodward, is on raffle duty. Karen Griffiths and Karen Naylor are always on hand to help you, introduce you to others and keep up the fun. Then we have the Sugar Babes singing which is lovely.

We always try to have a demonstration if possible, plus we have some bits and bobs in the S&C Kitchen were always looking to sell off cheap, so bring some pennies with you if your interested in grabbing a bargain.  If able Claire Corbett, or Laura may join us if they are available.

It's a lovely day to enjoy, to meet up, relax and chat.  Lots of the ladies and gents who come, generally book into the Stockport Premier Inn South, however if your driving you can book into Denton Premier Inn where you might find it a bit cheaper, it's only a few minutes further away. Don't Book Premier Inn Central, the rooms are ok, but the restaurant is not so good. If coming by train then you need Stockport Train Station, there is a taxi rank outside, were 10 minutes away, also a hotel at this location too, I think it's the Travel Lodge.

You're more than welcome to bring your partner or hubby, if they want to join in, however you will need to buy them a ticket too.
