If you’re anything like me, you hate lining your tins! With this homemade cake release, you won’t need to ever again! It’s especially great for things like bundt cakes and shaped tins that just aren’t possible to line. What’s more, you can make chocolate cake release too, so your chocolate cakes will look just as nice as they taste!
Its a really simple 3 ingredient recipe and it lasts up to 3 months in a sealed jar at room temperature.

Chocolate cake release:
To use your cake release, simply use a pastry brush to brush an even layer over the inside of the cake tin. You may choose to still line the bottom of the tin with a baking paper disc. Then just pour in your cake batter and bake! If you are using a detailed cake tin, just make sure to get your cake release into every nook and cranny!
