Festive Blondies

These Festive Blondies are a really decadent treat, combining an all round classic dessert with festive ingredients! We are Using a Christmas punch Flavour Shot which adds bursts of orange, cherry, and cinnamon flavours. Not only that but stirring in our home made mincemeat, packs and extra punch of flavour into the Festive Blondies!

Ingredients

• 240g butter
• 360g soft brown sugar
• 2lg eggs
• 25g Christmas Punch Flavour Shot
• 210g Plain flour
• 1/2tsp baking powder
• 1/4tsp salt
• 4tbsp Home Made Mincemeat

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 175c and line a brownie tin with greaseproof paper (leaving a bit of over hang to help you remove the blondie from the tray).
2. In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar. Microwave until the butter is melted and give it a good mix.
3. Add the eggs one at a time and beat the mixture well.
4. Now you can sift in the flour, Flavour Shot, baking powder and salt. Give the mixture a really good beat. We want to mix in the flour in the complete opposite way we would if making a sponge cake.
5. Fold in the home made Mincemeat.
6. Pour the batter into your lined brownie tin and and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 30-45 mins until a skewer comes out with moist crumbs.
8. Allow to cool completely in the tin.
9. Slice and serve! Enjoy your Festive Blondies!

Top tip!

If you are using shop bought mincemeat for your festive blondies, use a full 50g flavour shot!
